   Artist Biography

Mackenzie Cooper is a fine artist in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area who studied studio Art. Mackenzie enjoys to actively work in both studio art and photography, and works a lot from life drawing studies in her studio artwork. Through-out the years, Mackenzie participated in many art shows and competitions throughout her time in high school and early college years in university, and even placing in competitions such as Photographer’s Forum Best of College Photography of 2011.

Mackenzie Cooper’s art  influences includes John William Waterhouse and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood due to the amount workmanship the artists put into their work. Her photography influences include Lee Jeffries and Florence Owens Thompson. Her mediums of choice include acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolor, graphite, charcoal, and conte-crayon. Mackenzie’s artistic style can be described as humanistic and naturalistic, and the technique she most often utilizes in her studio work is rendering.

As an artist, Mackenzie Cooper aspires to be remembered as someone who is very good at what she does and very passionate at what she does, as well. As a person, Mackenzie would like to be remembered as someone who is passionate and hardworking, and who continues to grow as a person.
